For most woodland owners, a timber sale is a once or twice in a lifetime event. With such limited experience, it can be difficult to be certain that the price is fair and that the harvest is conducted properly. At this workshop, woodland owners will get advice from the experts on how to navigate the process successfully. Presenters will include a forestry specialist (Dr. Robert Bardon, NC State Extension Forestry), a woodland owner (Preston Floyd, 2017 NC Tree Farmer of the Year) and a Registered Consulting Forester. This is a free event, but registration is requested by filling out this form. Please contact Paul McKenzie ( or Johnny Coley ( for further information.
When: August 29, 2019, 7–9 p.m.
