Granville County Farmers and Agricultural Producers

Granville County has almost 500 registered farms. Some of these farms are used for hay production, forestry, and large field crop production, but the growing segment of farms in Granville are small and vibrant. These farmers grow and raise many different types of food,  from pasture meats, small fruits, vegetables of all shapes and sizes, herbs, flowers, micro-greens, and mushrooms….and the list goes on. Many of our farmers sell directly to local restaurants or other businesses that make value added agricultural products.

Our farmers are also varied how they sell their products. Granville County farmers participate in a variety of business models including Consumer Supported Agriculture (CSA) models, farmers markets,  U-pick, online sales, and on farm stands. Below you will find a listing of agricultural products. This is not an exhaustive list, but these producers have chosen to be featured on this site.
