N.C. Cooperative Extension, Granville County is hiring for an EFNEP and SNAP-ED program assistant.
This position develops and delivers nutritional education to adults through the EFNEP, the Expanded Food and Nutrition Assistance Program-Education. EFNEP has been helping limited resource youth and families with children to learn to eat healthier meals and snacks, make better use of food dollars and reduce the risk of food-borne illnesses. This position teaches classes using the EFNEP and SNAP-ED curriculum for most of the average weekly hours. Tasks include instruction, providing knowledgeable and focused customer service, marketing, event scheduling, and expense reporting.
