Join N.C. Cooperative Extension at this field day covering recent research and management updates for corn, soybeans, and other grain crops. Topics will include soybean growth habit, corn agronomic best management practices, alternative grain crops, corn herbicide management plans, sobyean disease management, local and statewide grain variety data, and local research trials.

The Northern Piedmont Grains Field Day will host multiple NC State Extension Specialists, Drs. Rachel Vann, Ron Heiniger, David Suchoff, Charlie Cahoon, and LeAnn Lux, NC State Official Variety Trial Director Ryan Heiniger, and Granville/Person County Field Crops Agent Mikayla Berryhill. These grain crop experts will provide presentations to growers on multiple topics, including soybean growth habit, corn agronomic best management practices, alternative grain crops, corn herbicide management plans, soybean disease management, local and statewide grain variety data, and local research trials.
