Does your garden already feel boring and we have not even entered the winter months yet? Would you like to spice it up with some pops of color and help reduce your impact on the environment at the same time? Well then, join us next week on Wednesday, September 14th from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Currituck County Center to learn how another person’s “trash” can become your Garden Art! The class will be held in the Auditorium at the Currituck County Cooperative Extension Center. Registration and a class fee of $20 are required.
Participants will begin the class by learning how humans impact the environment and how we can reduce this impact in small but creative ways. Then participants will be given the opportunity to make their own concrete garden mosaic using discarded pottery and create a glass flower, both of their own designs. We will tap into your creative juices and let them flow! Space and time is limited so hurry and sign up today! This will be a fun and creative class you don’t want to miss.
