Precision Ag Workshop

Person County Office Building (304 S. Morgan St, Roxboro)

February 13th @5 p.m.

What is precision agriculture? How can it be implemented on your farm? Come and learn all about it at the Precision Ag Workshop! While this event will be focused on field crop (tobacco, corn, soybeans, and wheat) producers, any who are interested in learning about this industry and technology are welcome. We will give you information on what precision agriculture is, how different aspects of this field can be implemented on your farm, and some industry updates on the newest technology.
Speakers include:

  • Dr. Jason Ward – An extension specialist in precision agriculture, sensors, data management, and data analysis will give an overview of the different aspects of precision agriculture and how it can be implemented on your farm.
  • Matthew Tomberlin – A Quality Equipment John Deere Precision Ag Field Specialist will cover the latest in industry precision agriculture equipment and data analysis.

SUPPER WILL BE PROVIDED AND SPONSORED BY QUALITY EQUIPMENT JOHN DEERE.
