Wow! We keep getting rain then a dry spell. Wheat has not improved much overall. Finding moths in cutworm traps, bud worm traps. Insects are out early. Dicamba resistant products will be pushed to June 30th cut off not July 31 so if you by these products Extenda Max, Eginia, others read the label carefully it will have the cutoff spray dates on them. The State of North Carolina is asking to have all farm and H2A workers vaccinated call the Granville and Person County offices to get an appointment with the county health departments for the workers, farmers, full time farm employees. Greenhouses have had some cold damage from last week looks like most can grow out of it. Check your greenhouse for insects and disease pythium especially. Great sanitation of a greenhouse keeps pests and disease out! I will be out working on many plots this year hope to have a better year than last year! We still have some PPE equipment for farmers and workers mainly mask and hand sanitizer give us a call if you need some.
