Pond Workshop Scheduled

A Farm Pond Workshop will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The location is the Oxford Research Station, Currin Farm Unit located at 2503 US 158 West, Oxford NC. The GPS coordinates are 36.323381, -78.658246.

Topics to be covered include aquatic weed management and fisheries management in farm ponds. Researchers from NC State University will be on hand to provide information on these topics and will demonstrate some techniques to use to evaluate and manage ponds for weed control and for fish populations.
